When Barney and I decided to open a restaurant together back in Spring 2015, our dream was to create a dining experience for our guests that was truly memorable. The Bacaro vision started with lots of long distance Skype calls (Barney was still in Switzerland), numerous “back of the envelope restaurant design sketches” and plenty of head scratching as to how I could bring classic Venetian food to the Cayman Islands. After a lot of hard work, and plenty of sleepless nights…we opened Bacaro at the beautiful Cayman Island Yacht club in February 2017. Yes…our ‘baby” is officially two years old, and we couldn`t be prouder.
Last Sunday, we thanked our amazing and dedicated team with a well-deserved boat trip.
Now, Barney and I would like to thank our loyal and wonderful customers for helping Bacaro become one of the best Cayman restaurants by offering you a glass of prosecco if you join us for Dinner on Monday February 10th.
